Slanderer,defamer: one who attacks the reputation of another by slander or libel.

Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, traducement, slander (for transitory statements), and libel (for written, broadcast, or otherwise published words)—is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, religion, or nation a negative or inferior image.

 

The common law origins of defamation lie in the torts of "slander" (harmful statement in a transitory form, especially speech), each of which gives a common law right of action.

A miser, cheapskate, snipe-snout, penny pincher, piker, scrooge, skinflint, money grubber, tightarse, tightwad is a person who is reluctant to spend money, sometimes to the point of forgoing even basic comforts and some necessities.

The slanderer, defamer and stingy shall be thrown into the

blazing fire.
