Manners of Walking Between Safa and Marwah

 

*Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said: 

'He then walked from Safa to Marwah, until he reached the base of the valley, from there he walked briskly. This is what is authentically narrated in relation to Sa'ee.'^[1] 

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, then reached the conclusion that the Prophet () would walk and run between Safa and Marwah, but when the people were crowded, he would ride between Safa and Marwah.²⁸
