Whoever is cautious in the dubious matters will save his religious commitment and his honour, but whoever falls into dubious matters will fall into haraam, like a shepherd who grazes his flocks around a private pasture and is liable to enter it at any moment.

If it is possible to control what happens in the internet café and prevent evil, there is nothing wrong with opening it and the income that results from that is halaal. But if it is not possible to control it and the customers use it for things that Allaah has forbidden, such as looking at haraam things and doing evil things – as is the case with most such cafes and their customers – then it is not permissible to open it and the income that results from it is haraam. In that case you have to change the place to another project in which there is no sin and you can earn a halaal income from it, which will help you to worship Allaah by going for Hajj, getting married, etc.

In order to train ourselves to accept the rulings of sharee’ah, we should start by noting some of the basic principles of sharee’ah etc which will help the Muslim – who submits to the rulings of Allaah – to deal with this operation and similar schemes devised by business-minded people, in a confident manner, especially when the following five main factors are present in these operations:

1- Widespread media and advertising media

2- Ease of financial transfer by means of credit cards and the like

3- Increased need for money among ordinary people, because of excessive desire to accumulate non-essentials

4- Greed and love of money in human nature

5- Lack of religious commitment and desire to seek halaal provision among many Muslims.

“Help you one another in Al‑Birr and At‑Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is Severe in punishment”
[al-Maa'idah 5:2]

تستنهض الأرواح والابدانا

To Awaken the Bodies And Souls

وأزل هوانا ظل يلزمنا .. وقل

Remove the Humiliation, The Shadow Which follows Us

ما هان من لزم الهدى ما هان

And Say Those Who follow the Guidance Do Not Suffer

كن كالصحابة في اقتداء المصطفى

Be Like the Companions in Follow the Prophet

كانوا لهامات الدنا تيجانا

They Were the Crowns in the Universe

نهلوا من القرآن أعذب مورد

They Drank from the Qur'aan, The Sweetest Water Spring

اخلاقهم كانت هي القرآن

Their Manners Were The Qur'aan

فأمنح له مما تجود أمانا

Then It will be Granted Peace from What You recited,

رتل فإن قلوبنا مشتاقة

Recite, For Indeed Our Hearts are missing it,

وازرع بصوتك في الجنان جنانا

Sow Gardens in Paradise with Your Voice,

هو سر نهضتنا وسر وجودنا

It is the Secret for Our Revival and Secret for Our Success,

من غيره ما أشرقت دنيانا

Without It, Our world willl not Be Illuminated

يا أمة القرآن صوني شرعه

Oh Nation of the Qur'aan, Preserve its Divine Revelation for Me,

واروي به كونا غدا عطشانا

And Tell the World About it Tomorrow, Enthusiastically.
