16. The Bee

16 – 70 – 128 – 16

An-Nahl------The Bee

Allah has sent down His revelations to warn that there is no

god but Him.

He has created cattle for the benefit of human beings.

It is He Who sends down water from the sky for drinking and

agriculture.

He set mountains to stabilize the earth.

Allah has bestowed so many favors, you cannot even count them

The unbelievers are arrogant and they will be held responsible

for that attitude. 

On the Day of Judgment, Allah will humiliate the arrogant and

cast them into hell while the righteous will be awarded paradise. 

Allah has sent the Rasools to warn against the unbelievers'

excuse: "If Allah wanted, we would have not worshipped

anyone else." 

Allah has promised a good abode for those who migrate for

His sake. 

Do the unbelievers feel secure against the wrath of Allah. 

Whenever unbelievers are in distress they call upon Allah

Alone; no sooner does He relieve them that they start

committing shirk. 

If Allah were to punish mankind for wrong doings, He would

not leave even an animal around the wrongdoers.

As water gives life to dead land so does the Qur'an to the

human soul. 

There is a lesson for mankind in the lives of animals i.e.,

milk-producing animals and the honeybee. 

There is a lesson in the process of your own creation: Why,

then, believe in deities who have no power to create

anything and disbelieve in Allah, the Creator? 

There are also signs of Allah in the lives of the birds and the

animals. 

On the Day of Judgment a witness will be called from each nation and

the unbelievers will face the reality of their invented false gods. 

End and punishment of disbelievers Witeness from every nation and the Prophet as witness to all 

Allah commands to do justice, do good to others, and give to

near relatives; and He forbids indecency, wickedness,

and rebellion. Don’t break your covenants… 

What is with you is transitory; and what is with Allah is everlasting.
Good life for the believers in this world and their reward in the hereafter 

When you recite the Qur'an, seek Allah's protection

against Shaitân. 

The unbelievers accused Muhammad (pbuh) of being taught

the Qur'an by a certain man, but the man they allude to is

non-Arab while the Qur'an is in eloquent Arabic. 

Do not declare with your tongue what is Halâl (lawful) and

what is Harâm (unlawful) - Halâl and Harâm are from Allah. 

Ibrâheem was a nation in himself. 

Call towards the Way of Allah with wisdom; advise and reason

in a courteous manner.

28. The Narration

28 – 49 – 88 – 9

Al-Qasas------The Narration

Story of the Prophet Musa. 

Fir‘aun plotted to kill the sons of the Israelites to save his

kingship, while Allah planned to bring up one of them in

Fir‘aun's own household.

Musa's youth, his folly of killing a man, and his escape from

Fir‘aun's retribution. 

His arrival at Madyan, acceptance of a ten year term

of employment, and marriage. 

His arrival at Mount Tûr, seeing a fire, conversation with

Allah, his appointment as a Rasool to Fir‘aun and his

chiefs.

Fir‘aun and his chiefs disbelieved; as a result Allah destroyed

them but saved the Children of Israel. 

Information about the destruction of prior generations is given

to teach a lesson. 

Truth has been conveyed; the true people of the book believe in it 

Righteous Jews and Christians can recognize the truth of

the Qur'an and feel that they were Muslims even before

hearing it.

Prophets cannot give guidance, it is Allah who gives guidance. 

On the Day of Judgment, the disbelievers will wish that they had

accepted Guidance. 

Allah has not allowed the Mushrikeen to assign His powers

to whomever they want. 

Story of Qarûn, the rich man, who was from the people of

Musa but he rebelled against the guidance of Allah. 

Revelation of the Qur'an is the mercy of Allah, let no one turn

you away from it.

27. The Ant

Al-Naml------The Ant

The Qur'an is a Guide and Good News to the Believers. 

Story of the Prophet Musa's selection as a Rasool.

Nine signs were shown to Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) but he still

disbelieved and incurred Allah's punishment. 

Story of the Prophet Sulaimân, to whom Allah gave rule over

jinns, men, birds and winds. 

The hoopoe brought him the news about the Queen of Sheba.

Communications between Queen of Sheba and Sulaimân.
A man who had the 'Knowledge of the Book' brought the Throne

of the Queen to king Sulaimân in twinkling of an eye.

Queen of Sheba and her people embraced Islam. 

Story of the Prophet Sâleh and his address to his people.

Sâleh's people plotted to kill him, but Allah saved him

and destroyed the disbelievers. 

The Prophet Lût admonished his people but they paid no

heed so they faced the scourge of Allah. 

Praise to Allah and peace be on His Rasools. 

Just think, is there any god besides Allah Who has created

anything in the universe, answers the oppressed or guides

to the Right Way? 

The disbelievers doubt Allah's power of creation.

The Qur'an clarifies those matters in which the Israelites

differ and

Do not deny Allah's revelations without gaining their

comprehensive knowledge.

those who go astray, do so to their own peril. 

26. The Poets

Ash-Shu'ara------The Poets

Dedication of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to the guidance

of mankind. 

The assignment of Musa as a Rasool and his dialogue with

Fir‘aun and miracles of the Prophet Musa. 

Fir‘aun took the Prophet Musa's miracles as magic and

summoned the magicians to compete.

After witnessing a miracle, all the magicians embraced

Islam. 

Deliverance of the Children of Israel and the destruction of

Fir‘aun and his chiefs. 

TheSTORY of the Prophet Ibrâheem and his arguments against idol

worshipping and

The prayer of the Prophet Ibrâheem for this life and the life Hereafter.

The mushrikeen and their gods both will be toppled into hell. 

TheSTORY of the Prophet Nûh, his dialogue with his people;

they disbelieved; Nuh’s prayer to Allah Nuh and believers rescued and others drowned.

TheSTORY of the Prophet Hûd, his address to his people; they

disbelieved and as a result faced destruction. 

TheSTORY of the Prophet Sâleh, his address to his people; they

disbelieved and as a result faced destruction. 

TheSTORY of the Prophet Lût, his address to his people; they

disbelieved and as a result faced destruction. 

The STORY of the Prophet Shu'aib, his address to his people; they

disbelieved and as a result faced destruction. 

The Qur'an is revealed in plain Arabic by Allah through angel Gabriel;

those people who do not want to believe will not believe. 

The Qur'an is not brought down by shaitâns; it is neither in

their interest nor in their power. 

Shaitâns descend on slandering sinners, who listen to hearsay

and are liars.
